Armenia will become a new tourist destination for a number of countries

At the initiative and with the financing of the Mantashyants Union of Entrepreneurs, a new program is being launched, within the framework of which travel companies from about 10 countries will come to Armenia.

It is planned to hold an information tour in Armenia with Mantashyan companies from the HoReCa sector (hotel, restaurant, catering) and tourism sectors, the purpose of which is the same: to activate Armenia as a tourist destination.

"We invited and financed the trip of representatives of tourist countries from the Baltic States to Armenia at infoturi to get acquainted with the possibilities of Armenia, which will not only attract tourist groups to Armenia, but also further stimulate the development of the HoReCa sector and will enable Armenian businesses to actively work with foreign markets," said Vahram Mirakayan, co-founder and President of the Mantashyants Business Club.

Already today, representatives of 9 major travel agencies operating in the Baltic States are in Armenia, who met in B2B format with members of clubs engaged in tourism activities in Armenia. The latter have already seen great opportunities for cooperation.

Kathleen Keeler, a representative of Air Baltic, said that these ties will allow the Baltic countries to expand their ties with Armenia. ․

"We hope that by attracting tour operators from travel agencies of the Baltic States to Armenia, we will help expand trips from the Baltic States to Armenia. We hope to successfully develop direct flights from Riga to Yerevan, so we will have many customers who will discover Armenia," said the representative of Air Baltic.

Next time, representatives of 10 major Arab travel companies will arrive in Armenia on a study visit. The program also provides for the admission of representatives of companies from other industries.
