Opening of the 22nd Mantashyants Branch in Vienna
18 Dec 2025
We are proud to announce the opening of the 22nd Mantashyants branch in Vienna — a significant milestone in the organization’s history and development. Vienna is one of the European cities with a strong Armenian presence, renowned for its rich cultural, historical, and intellectual heritage.

The Significance of the Vienna Armenian Studies Center
The Mekhitarist Congregation in Vienna holds exceptional historical and academic value in preserving Armenian heritage. Its collections include approximately half a million Armenian studies books, 3,000 manuscript volumes, and 2,800 Armenian-language periodicals preserved in complete editions.

Cultural Heritage and New Opportunities
The Vienna Armenian Studies Center has become an important hub for education, science, and culture, bringing together prominent figures of Armenian cultural heritage whose influence has played a significant role in Armenia’s history. Vienna’s intellectual environment has long attracted Armenian scholars and thinkers.

Mantashyants’ Presence in Vienna
The Mantashyants branch in Vienna — the fifth in Europe and the twenty-second worldwide — is dedicated to strengthening Armenian business and culture both in Armenia and globally. We will continue to invest in development and create new opportunities, proudly and responsibly reinforcing Armenian heritage, including the monumental role of Mantashyants.
Our journey in Vienna continues — in support of a strong and impactful Armenian presence․
