“Play for profit" book presentation in Gyumri

The presentation of the book “Play for profit” was held in Gyumri. The authors, Christopher Dedeyan and Matthieu Dubreucq, arrived in Armenia as part of their book tour.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Gyumri branch of the Mantashyants Business Club, Armine’s Library, and Newmag Publishing House.

The authors shared how a sports-oriented mindset can benefit life and business by cultivating focus, discipline, and a winner’s mentality.

The special guest of the evening was Olympic champion Nazik Avdalyan, who inspired the audience by sharing her personal story and the powerful role of willpower in overcoming challenges.

The event was moderated by Manu Iritsyan, Head of Multimedia Content at Newmag Publishing, while translator Nane Manukyan presented the Armenian edition and translation process.

Speeches were also delivered by Artak Gevorgyan, Head of the Gyumri branch of the Mantashyants Business Club and founder of Armine’s Library, as well as Artak Aleksanyan, founder of Newmag Publishing.

At the end of the event, the book was available at a special price and signed by the authors.

This event once again proved that when sports and business thinking come together, books are born that transform perspectives—and lives.
