The Armenian Entrepreneur in Russia: Growth Strategy Without Unnecessary Words

On October 10, an exclusive business meeting took place in Moscow with Sergey Hambardzumyan, owner of the “Monarch” group of companies operating in Russia, philanthropist, leading Russian developer, and dollar billionaire, under the topic: “The Armenian Entrepreneur in Russia: Growth Strategy Without Unnecessary Words.”

In 2022, Vladimir Putin awarded Sergey Hambardzumyan the Order of Friendship. The decree cited the philanthropist’s recognition for “labor achievements and many years of conscientious work.”

Over its 30-year history, the “Monarch” concern has built numerous complex and unique projects in Moscow, as well as the Irina Rodnina Hockey and Figure Skating School in Yerevan.

During the Moscow meeting, 65 distinguished individuals gathered on a single platform — from entrepreneurs across more than 50 industries and heads of institutions responsible for Russian-Armenian economic cooperation, to world champions, Guinness record holders, and international grandmasters.

The focus of the meeting was Sergey Hambardzumyan himself, a speaker who rarely appears publicly. He spoke not only about business but also about values, motivation, and personal responsibility.

The format of the meeting included a Q&A session and opportunities to establish new connections, during which participants found new partners.
